Walker Family photo collection, 1899-1950 (bulk 1899-1914)

Photographs chiefly of family members, miners, mine buildings and mining machinery. Includes images of mining at the Exposed Reef Mining Company, Silver Bell Mine, and Katherine Mine. Mining images include miners with lunch pails, melted ore being poured into ore carts, men working at a saw mill, and mine building construction. Photographs of family members include Alice Feldman Walker, her children Helen Walker Truesdell and Dorothy Walker, and grandson Clifford Truesdell. There is a view of Front Street in Kingman, Ariz. and the family home on Toughnut St. in Tombstone, Ariz.

Chemist and Mine Manager; worked for the Exposed Reef Mining Company in the Huachuca Mountains from about 1899 to 1901, then went to Silver Bell Mine in Pima County. Walker briefly worked in Kingman, Ariz. at Stanley Bagg's Katherine Mine. From 1903 to 1907, Walker worked for the Consolidated Mining Company in Tombstone.
